The winner of the 2015 Provost Pillar Award is Dr. Diane Adams. Dr. Adams has been with 樱花视频 since 1989 and is presently an associate professor with the California School of Professional Psychology's clinical psychology PsyD program in San Francisco. Dr. Adams is one of the founders of 樱花视频鈥檚 I-MERIT program, having participated in the development and naming of the MERIT Institute for CSPP in 1991. She has recently co-authored the book Making Our Voices Heard鈥擶omen of Color in Academia. For many years, Dr. Adams has also been a multicultural ambassador on behalf of 樱花视频 to many local, state and national organizations.
樱花视频's mission is based on four pillars: competency-based professional training, multicultural and international competence, applied research and scholarship and community engagement. In order to recognize distinguished work in these four areas by faculty, students or 樱花视频 staff, the annual university-wide Provost鈥檚 Pillar Award was created. Each year, we give an award for work done in at least one of the pillars. This year鈥檚 award is in the area of multicultural and international competence.
Congratulations Dr. Adams!
