California School of Professional Psychology鈥檚 San Francisco Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Program Given Highest Level of Re-Accreditation by the American Psychological Association (APA)

San Diego, California鈥The California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at 樱花视频鈥檚 Clinical Psychology PhD degree program at its San Francisco campus has just received a 10-year re-accreditation by the American Psychological association (APA)鈥攖he highest level of re-accreditation offered by the association.

Each of 樱花视频鈥檚 nine clinical psychology doctoral programs is accredited by the APA鈥檚 Commission on Accreditation. The San Francisco program is the latest to have received the maximum re-accreditation. APA awards accreditation based on program performance. The accreditors review the curriculum, training opportunities, faculty credentials, and program resources. They also look at outcomes such as time to completion, attrition rates, and graduates鈥 success in attaining licensure. Another important outcome is students鈥 success in attaining internships. In 2018-19, 88% of San Francisco鈥檚 Clinical Psychology PhD students are completing APA-accredited internships, and 6% are completing Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) member internships.

鈥淭his re-affirmation of the quality of our program is the latest reminder that we are continuing our legacy of impact on the eve of CSPP鈥檚 50th anniversary,鈥 said CSPP Dean Dalia Ducker, PhD.

Questions related to a program鈥檚 accredited status should be directed to the Commission on Accreditation:
